 The U.S. has agreed to sell a few dozen F-16 fighters to Pakistan. Despite Indian objections, most agree that this sale will not change the balance of military power between Pakistan and India. Moreover, both nations have nuclear weapons, which, for Pakistan, somewhat makes up for India's big advantage in conventional military power. This edge has been growing in the past decade, as Pakistan struggles with corrupt government and growing Islamic radicalism.
