India had 20 police officers suspended for shooting dozens (and killing eight) villagers demonstrating in Kashmir. The villagers were demanding that the police bodies of five men killed earlier as suspected terrorists. The police insist the dead men were not locals, the villagers insisted they were. The government ordered DNA tests to determine of the five dead men were from the area.
