Taiwan intelligence is now convinced that the Chinese J-10 fighter program (rumored for the last decade) is indeed for real and the two prototypes (with tail numbers "1" and "3") are currently conducting weapons tests with PL-8 air-to-air missiles. Chengdu Factory #132 is expected to produce ten pre-production J-10s this year.--Stephen V Cole
