  Chadian MDJT rebels openly gathered and planned their next move in their war against the Chad government. The rebels are backed by Libya, which fears losing disputed territory in their common border. It is felt that the disputed territory contains valuable natural resources. Meanwhile, the CAR accused Chad of moving troops into CAR border territory. CAR also accuses Chad of giving refuge to CAR rebels and allowing the rebels to recruit on the border area.
