NATO forces are beginning to move into western Afghanistan. An Italian-led brigade (including Greeks and Lithuanians), is moving into the western city of Herat, where four provincial reconstruction teams will be formed, to assist the Afghan security forces. This region borders Iran, which is not happy seeing NATO troops next door. Iran still officially sees the West, and organizations like NATO, as evil and deserving of destruction.
