Special Operations: Japanese Rapid Reaction Force

April 6, 2007: Japan has established a rapid reaction force, to deal with everything from terrorists, domestic disturbances and peacekeeping overseas. The 3,200 man force contains several hundred troops trained to respond quickly to crises situations. The "Rapid Division" also has its own helicopters, and a unit that will train Japanese peacekeepers before the head overseas. The peacekeepers need to know how to avoid getting involved with violent situations that might embarrass the Japanese government.
