Germany has decided to fit Radar Warning Receivers on 170 Panavia Tornado Interdiction Strike Fighters. A $21 million contract has been granted to Sweden's Saab Tech Electronics to provide the equipment, which will be "different than that" on the JAS-39 Gryphon. The deal is seen as an offset against the future Swedish purchase of German KEPD-350 stand-off air-to-surface missiles.--Stephen V Cole
