The US Navy plans to ask for bids on a multi-spectral camera (mounted in an unmanned recon drone) which would be able to detect naval mines in shallow waters near shore. Preliminary tests under the COBRA program used a Xybion camera mounted in an Israeli drone.--Stephen V Cole
