Seeking new ways to tackle mobile air defenses, the US is seeking to develop Quick Bolt. This will be an AGM-88 High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile fitted with systems allowing direct links to US recon satellites. The US wants Quick Bolt to destroy mobile anti-aircraft systems before they can move, and perhaps before they even turn on their radars and scan for targets. If the system works, it could be added to any of the US land-attack missiles, such as JSOW, JASSM, SLAMER, or TLAM.--Stephen V Cole
