Britain is evaluating options to upgrade the firepower on its Warrior armored personnel carriers. The existing 30mm Rarden cannon has a slow rate of fire and has no sabot round for anti-armor duties. Options include a heavier or better cannon in a new (better protected) two-man turret, an overhead weapon station, or a remotely-controlled external weapon system.--Stephen V Cole
